A Survey For Professional Photographers with a Free Subscription to a Great Newsetter
A friend recently contacted me to let me know about a survey for professional photographers that is currently live (the date of this post is 8/22/2013). I took the survey (it took me about 10 minutes to complete), and I have a few suggestions for those who plan to take it:
1. If you are a portrait/wedding/pet/commercial pro photographer, this is a good survey for you to consider taking.
2. If you only sell your work as “fine-art” at festivals or through galleries/websites, I would not take this survey.
Here is some text from the survey that describes what you’ll receive for participating (if you choose to provide contact information):
“Upon completion of this survey, you will receive a gift for your time. You will begin receiving a 1-year subscription to Photo Imaging News International Edition newsletter via email. This is a bi-monthly publication that costs $180…The second is a summary of this survey providing a clear snapshot of the pro photographer market.”
Two people will also receive $150 cash from a drawing of those who answer the survey and provide contact information.
There is no date listed on the site for when the survey will end, so I would recommend participating soon if you are interested.
