The Imaging Buffet is the online magazine for the passionate professional and prosumer/enthusiast photographer. It contains the latest news, reviews, interviews and videos on a wide range of photo-related topics, including photo workflow, backup, color management, printing, Photoshop and Lightroom.
Andrew Darlow, editor and founder of The Imaging Buffet, is a photographer, educator, inventor and digital imaging consultant based in Piscataway, New Jersey. For over 20 years, he has consulted on the topics of digital output and color management for internationally acclaimed photographers and corporations such as Tiffany & Co, and his commercial clients have included Brooks Brothers, Kenneth Cole, Tourneau watches and The Body Shop. He also served for two years as Editorial Director of Digital Imaging Techniques magazine, where he wrote numerous articles and reviews on the topics of digital and fine-art photography, inkjet printing, and Photoshop techniques.
He has lectured and conducted seminars and workshops around the world at photo-related conferences, and for photography organizations and schools, including Advertising Photographers of America (APA), The Center for Fine Art Photography, Professional Photographers of America (PPA), the Arles Photo Festival (Arles, France), Columbia University, The School of Visual Arts and the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York.
He is the inventor and co-developer of GalleryPouch™ premium bubble bags, which are heavyweight bubble bags designed for artwork, but used for many additional purposes. The GalleryPouch™ bags are made by hand, one at a time, in sizes up to 52×156 inches, exclusively at Frame Destination LLC, located in Dallas, TX.
Darlow’s photography has been exhibited worldwide in group and solo shows, and his prints are held in numerous private collections, including the permanent collection of the Museum of Printing (Haverhill, MA). His articles and images have been included in many publications, websites, books and TV programs, including: Animal Planet, WPIX-TV, People Magazine, Photo District News, Professional Photographer Magazine, photo.net, photofocus.com, and he publishes the Inkjet & Imaging Tips Newsletter, which includes news, tips and techniques on fine art printing and digital imaging, as well as free Lightroom workflow and backup videos.[thrive_leads id=’3807′]
