SEPIA International Exhibition: light/dark, 1/9 – 2/21, 2009

I just came across an announcement for this upcoming exhibition in NYC on the website Photocrew.com:

SEPIA International Exhibition is currently presenting a group photo exhibition entitled “light/dark.” The show runs from 1/9 – 2/21/2009 and features the work of Linda Connor, Sookang Kim, Michelle Kloehn, Yukio Oyama, and Go Sugimoto.

That adds another “to do” item to my list!

Upcoming Color Management Workshops in NJ on 1/31/2009

I’m conducting two color management/fine-art printing workshops on January 31, 2009 at a new pro rental/fine-art reproduction studio located in Hillsborough, NJ (near Princeton). One runs from 10am-3pm and the other from 4pm-7pm.
For more information or to register, visit this page. I am using EventBrite.com to manage the event, and I like their interface and features a lot.

ImagingBuffet.com Named a Top 100 Photography Blog

First, I’d like to wish all of our readers a very happy new year. This is my first post of 2009. A nice holiday present came in the form of recognition by the folks at photography-colleges.org. ImagingBuffet.com was named to their list of “Top 100 Photography Blogs.” I’d like to thank them for putting The Imaging Buffet on the same page as some of my favorite blogs, including Photojojo.com, American Photo’s “State of the Art,” PDN’s “PDN Pulse,”  This Week in Photography,  Strobist, Scott Kelby’s “Photoshop Insider,” and many others. Feel free to share some of your favorite photo blogs in our comments section (preferably with a reason why you are selecting them).

And happy new year once again!
