I recently contributed an audio tip segment to the Typical Mac User Podcast. The tip covers printing in Apple OSX (Tiger and Leopard) and the main item I cover is how to save print presets in OSX. The whole show is very informative, but if you’d like to go right to my audio, you can click on the play button at the top, wait a little while for it to load, and then move the scroll bar to 23 minutes in.
And here’s a link to a previous show in which I spoke about color management.
I think that the typicalmacuser.com website is a fantastic resource, filled with helpful information for Mac, iPod and iPhone users. Enjoy the shows!
During the PhotoPlus Expo 2007 I was fortunate to have an opportunity to appear on Inside Digital Photo TV, hosted by Scott Sheppard. During the interview I talk for a few minutes about my new book, 301 Inkjet Tips and Techniques.
The view behind us was pretty amazing, with aisle after aisle of digital photo gadgets, cameras and other goodies. On a related note, I was also interviewed by Scott for an audio interview on Inside Digital Photo Radio, which you can find here.I recently contributed some color management info from my new book, 301 Inkjet Tips and Techniques to Datacolor’s Digital Imaging e-Newsletter. In the “Expert Advice” section, calibrating vs. profiling is covered (primarily with regard to monitors). There is also an overview of the book, as well as a Photoshop tip by another contributor. You can find the eNewsletter here. And here is the link to the page to sign up to receive future newsletters.
