The 3rd annual Photo Expo West is being held this weekend (Nov. 10-11, 2007) at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in San Diego, CA. It’s a free event, and there will be over 30,000 square feet of digital photography seminars and equipment.
Here is a partial list of the photographers who are presenting: Douglas Kirkland, Eddie Tapp, Hanson Fong, Tony Corbell, Don Gale, Bill Fortney and Jane Conner-ziser.
I think that this is a fantastic opportunity for photographers of all levels to learn from some of the best photographers in the world, and play with some of the latest gear being made today.
Here is a list of the exhibitors, which includes APA National (Advertising Photographers of America) and ASMP (American Society of Media Photographers, Inc.).
Scott Kelby will be returning to New York City on Tuesday 11/6/2007 for the Photoshop CS3 Power Tour. I’ve attended many of Scott’s sessions, and I’ve always learned valuable tips and tricks. He is a fantastic presenter, and based on the schedule of topics, it looks to be a great day of Photoshop learning. The event will run a full day (10am-5pm), and is being held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.
Here is an outline of the main topics that will be covered throughout the day:
Digital Photo Correction Secrets
Photoshop “Photo-Finishing” Techniques
Yet Even More Down & Dirty Tricks
Photoshop Speed Clinic
How to Show Your Work Like a Pro
The cost is $99.00 for the full day event ($79.00 for NAPP Members)
