Hey, I went today and saw your work. It was fantastic! A question – around how much time worth of thinking and shooting did it take for you to get all of those pictures?
Hi David:
Thanks so much for your nice comments! I really appreciate it. I started seriously taking photos of New York in about 1992. The photos are from an overall collection of thousands, and the actual time spent to take the photos, edit/size/proof/print, spray the canvases, have them stretched and framed, etc. was probably about 300-400 hours. Planning and helping hang the shows I’ve done so far has probably added about hundred hours to that number. When it’s your passion, the time flies!
Best of luck on the show!
Amazing photos!
