Last Day to Enter Street Photography Show at The Center for Fine Art Photography

In my first post of the New Year, I’d like to wish all of our readers a happy and healthy 2008 and beyond. I’ll be back in full-force soon with some new podcasts, tips, a newsletter and more. If you’ve visited imagingbuffet.com lately, you may have noticed a little widget on the right side of the site which has upcoming calls for entry from The Center for Fine Art Photography.

c4fap.jpgThe Center for Fine Art Photography’s Street Photography Show call for entries deadline is today (1/16/2008 – it was extended one day). The show’s Juror is Michelle Dunn Marsh, Deputy Director of Aperture Foundation.

In addition to being invited to have work exhibited at The Center’s new and expanded location, a list of other awards for winning entries can be found on the show’s call for entry page.

I am a member of The Center For Fine Art Photography’s Ambassador’s Circle, which is a group of volunteers who help to share information about events and calls for entry. I also recently was honored to be the juror for a show that will be opening at The Center in the beginning of February entitled, “Planes, Trains and Automobiles.” I highly recommend visiting the site when the show is posted, or better yet, in person at the new gallery. I was extremely impressed by the entries that were submitted by photographers from around the world.

Entries are due by 11:59PM Mountain Standard Time (MST) on Wednesday 1/16/2008, and are accepted via The Center’s website. For more info, here is a direct link to the Street Photography show’s call for entry page.

All the best!

Andrew
