A quick tip related to the content (especially at 38 minutes into the video): Instead of pressing the “\” key or “Reset” to see a before and after view since you imported the image, you can click the small “switch” at the top of the Lens Corrections panel to just turn off the Lens Correction settings. It looks like this (switch is circled in red):
